Ektonian equivalent to corn, sort of.
Its 'fruit' is harvested and either eaten raw or ground into flour to make a flatbread. Tubers can also be eaten like potatoes.
Grows best in shallow, stagnant water.
Grows to a size similar to Earth's cattails.
