Description
Abominable. Untrustworthy. Warlike. Conquerors. Monstrosities. All these names and thousands more are used to describe the bane of Fifth Arm, Sector IV of the Volunis galaxy. An empire spanning multiple systems and individual worlds, the Zuluristka are an expansionist species that believes the galaxy is there's to conquer and jealously hoard to themselves.
The Galactic Council has known about the Zuluristka for years now but has been unable to effectively fight back against them. Numerous worlds are threatened by the Zuluristka, and many have put aside their differences to take up arms against the "Bugs".
The issues with the Zuluristka as a species are as much cultural as they are genetic. Surviving on a brutal world of firestorms and eartquakes, the Zuluristka have evolved with high agression levels and an overloaded survival instinct that leads them to mistrust and fight anything that opposes them. Their society is regimented by the biggest, literally: size is a factor in an individual's status in society. Supreme Dictator Beril is, fittingly, the biggest and strongest member of his species, and his ambitions have lead the species as a whole on a mission to conquer the galaxy.
