...With a little bit of modding, that is.
(Made with the help of a mod that adds more levels for captains to unlock, from a maximum of 10 to 32, making it possible to unlock every captain part in one creature/empire save. It will require Universal Property Enhancer [UPE for short] to work as intended.)

It's not the invisilimbs that cause the effect, I just tricked Spore into thinking the creature is bigger than it actually is by hiding floating parts way to the sides.
