Description

{Most requested Serpantine for a remake which I never got to due to re-armouring. But now it's finally here so enjoy :D} {Best seen in editor} "It's so satisfying watching your problems melt away" Vile is a black tar like substance commonly found in Vulagur. It is highly acidic capable of melting almost anything within mere seconds including Vulagur itself. Constantly generating underground within Vulagur, once Vile build up becomes too much for it's mystical body to handle it simply spits out the Vile in large pockets on the surface. Originally a form of a more humane execution (since death is usually near instantaneous) but The Serpantine found a more interesting use for Vile as a deadly projectile. Handling and containment of Vile is one of the most dangerous tasks for a Serpantine due to the fact only the most powerful enchantments can hold it. If the amount of Vile is greater than the strength of the enchantment containing it then the enchantment will fail. This causes the Vile to liquidate it's container, anything else around it then the floor it lands on until there is nothing left or it eventually evaporates into corrupting gases. Soldiers who wield this highly deadly substance are called Vile Launchers. Vile Launchers serve as The Létal clan's foot artillery using their horrid weapons to lob Vile across long distances melting whatever is unfortunate to get hit. All Vile Launchers are professionally trained and are one of the longest weapons to train under due to the dangerous nature of the weapon they use. As one can guess, only the most insidious and vindictive Létal Serpantine can ignore the dangers of there own weapons just to insure the demise of so many others. As with most Létal soldiers, Vile Launchers are armed and equipped from one of The Terror Armouries of The College of Soul. Vile Launchers wear The Armour of Eternity. These are heavily enchanted suits of armour comprised of many powerful resistance spells granting it's wearer (supposedly) eternal protection. Admittedly the enchantments are actually used to protect it's wearers from their own weapons rather than enemies attacks. Though these protection enchantments do grant some strong levels of resistance against to attacks allowing Vile Launchers to deliver their horrid packages. They wield their namesake weapons, Vile Launchers which are deadly long range weapons designed to fire Vile literally melting their opponents along with their armour and vehicles within seconds. There is no physical protection of any kind that can withstand Vile regardless of technology or plane of existence. Only energy, psychic or spell based protection can protect one from Vile but it must be very powerful. If not than the Vile will simply eat through such defences like it does anything else. These weapons store large amounts of Vile in the back tank to be fed into the launcher itself to be fired. There is a large amount of protection spells placed on this weapon. Without it the Vile will simply melt the very weapon it's contained in. In Spore Vile Launchers have the power of lvl 2 plasma shots by 900% extra damage making them quite deadly. Vile Launchers are deadly foot artillery who will happily fire at their enemies even if it includes their comrades when commanded. Vile Launchers also possess anti-air capabilities due to their long range albeit inaccurate. But Vile Launchers main flaw is the tank they carry on their backs, if struck and the Vile will drain out rendering the weapon useless assuming it doesn't kill it's wielder. A task somewhat easier due to the way Vile Launchers wield them leaving the tank exposed on their right side but Vile Launchers are trained to compensate. In the end the sounds of their melting victims screaming is what Vile Launchers truly live for.
