@worm, No, I tried a few months ago... it seems that some browsers (mine included) can't do that....

Thanks for the comment! I found a way to write long descriptions, and it involves logging onto the Sporepedia site, then signing in with a Spore account. Then, you can access your creations description and tags, which you can write over 250 characters.
