-->If you enjoy this creation please rate it on spore.coml-- (Continued) The entire assembly sits in stunned silence for a long moment watching the Zathellu?s recording play out as the debris field that used to be the Zaretian patrol slowly dissipates. As a tractor beam from a cruiser sized vessel begins to draw in the damaged scout ship the patrol attacked, the Zathellu?s probe pans out letting the vastness and beauty of the mystery armada fill the holo display. With the patrol destroyed the alien craft outside of the debris field unfurl huge elegant solar sails which could almost seem to be angelic wings. As the Zathellu probe pans across the mysterious fleet it comes to center on three gargantuan vessels near the center of the armada. The scale of these ships is absolutely mind boggling. You struggle to put some sort of frame of reference to the holo as the dreadnaughts fill the display. Knowing the size of the Zaretian patrol ships, and forcing yourself to recall the ratio in scale of the mystery destroyers that eliminated that patrol to the size of the Zaretian ships and now comparing those specks the probe is tracking as they approach the massive ethereal shapes you realize each of the dreadnaughts has to be near the size of a small moon. The dreadnaughts sails alone would be nearly three times the length of a standard battleship in scale. The Zathellu delegate breaks the silence by speaking. ?Now I switch to a real-time broadcast from the same probe? She removes the data crystal from the display and the holo disappears as she types in the authorization codes to open a com channel with the probe. The live holo springs back up and it is obvious the strange ships are still there, a semi-circle of the small scout like vessels have formed up in front of the probe?s camera indicating they are well aware that it is there, and most likely aware that it is broadcasting. ?Though as you can see in the background they actively patrol the edges of the armada they have remained in place since the Zaretian patrol was destroyed, and at regular intervals they have transmitted the signal you are about to hear to our probe.? And as predicted a transmission of long series of musical clicks and chirp-like sounds fills the council chamber. You are absolutely enthralled by the sounds, they seem to resonate somewhere deep within you with their hypnotizing beauty, wrapping you in a feeling not unlike a safe warm blanket. The feeling breaks and you realize the council chair has acknowledged you, giving you the floor to speak, but you don?t even remember standing up from your seat? After a hesitation long enough to incite a wave of murmurs to spread across the assembly you manage to stutter ?I believe this to be an invitation to improve upon this disastrous first contact, they?re giving us a second chance to make it right?? -The Maan Class Dreadnaught is the heart of the Caridian armada. Trios of the gargantuan vessels make up the center of each of the Caridian fleets. Taking into account the scope of these vessels and the size of their solar sails they could cause a small eclipse by passing between a planet and its sun. The Maan have a series of twelve different docking bays leading to hangars for fighter squadrons and repair centers each of which is more than large enough to accommodate a destroyer for field repairs. In addition to the thousands of particle cannon turrets for repelling fighters which dot the hull the Maan have two forward two starboard and two port Ion Graviton turrets each with a pair of the devastating cannons for engaging enemy capital ships. The dreadnaughts main weapons are its twin forward nova pulsar cannons which are so powerful that the heat they focus on a target?s hull is equal to the touch of a small star- *Created By Serevanth*
