Description
These small remote controlled vehicles (RCV) called FL4-M3 Maintenance Bot, or Flamebot for short, are equipped with a small but effective welding tool and can be used for small maintenance jobs and/or clearing the way through the rough ice fields in a quiet manner.
The Flamebot can regulate the intensity of its rotating front thrusters to rear up so that it can reach higher places.
The thrusters can also be used to melt a large area of ice when full power is initiated. The Flamebot will have to go full throttle with it wheels to compensate for the thrusters power output.
Power for the overall movement comes from a small fusion core that can run for 3 weeks straight.
The welding tool however runs on fuel, that is kept liquid by the fusion core, will run out after 96 hours of continuous work.
These small RCV's also have lots of storage compartments that can be kept just above freezing temperature. This enables the Flamebot to store items that would otherwise get stuck due to the cold.
The Flamebot has even been known for being used as a makeshift grill and campfire during survival situations.
This makes the FL4-M3 Maintenance Bot a useful tool on the frozen planet Yeodir.
