Metasurs are one of Miikka64's galaxy's biggest mysteries. They're essentially 'living metal'. They don't bleed, they don't eat, they only have a single organ that works as their brain and they can 'reforge' their bodies with external help - though some Metasurs have learned to reform their metallic bodies by just using their mind.
Killing a Metasur is extremely difficult because their bodies are made out of an unknown metal that can withstand a blast of a proton missile. And to kill a Metasur, one must destroy the Metasur's brain-like organ located usually in their head. And yes, Metasurs can have that organ moved to a different location - something Metasur soldiers usually have had done to themselves.
Given how indestructible the Metasurs are, one would think they'd make great warriors and conquerors - however Metasurs despise war and killing, only fighting back when they are given no other option. During the many wars for the emperor's throne Metasurs were never seen taking a side.
Metasur homeworld is the planet Ferrenos. It's a strange world without any plants, and the extremely thin atmosphere is poisonous to most creatures.
Metasurs are led by 'Metaror', one if not the oldest Metasur alive. 'They' are an enigma even to their own people, only leaving their underground lair located near Ferrenos' core to discuss new alliances and decisions relating to their species' survival.

[(Not) Fun Fact: Metasurs were one of my favourite Surisin sub-species, yet they only appeared in one adventure that for some unknown reason 'glitched' out of existence (or something), it was the first adventure I made after I returned from my 'quitting Spore' (so between --Itsenäinen Tykittäjä a Armottomat Atollit). This same adventure also featured the return of the Kurisins from their exile... And Korahmos for some reason, that's all I remember.]
