"Traitor? That would imply I was once on your side, you walking a talking retirement plan of mine!"
Surens was a Surisin bounty hunter working primarily in Lennotonlisko's galaxy. His style of killing his targets was usually by first getting close to them, receiving their trust, and once the time was right and all the backs were turned, he took the shot(s).
One day Surens received a job from the mighty KaTERUX, the leader of Kalmagox military campaigns (mainly against Denarboxes). The job was to kill a certain captain and captain Gualdox for the generous amount of 90 00000000 sporebucks. Surens thinked this as his chance of early retirement, and accepted. He first infiltrated a spaceship that was on the same course as the spaceship DESTROYER (where both captains Surens was paid to kill were at the time). He then called a group of space pirates he was acquainted with to attack the ship he was on in order to make the crew send a distress call - which would of course be received by the closest ship to them, the DESTROYER. And as planned the ship came, saved its crew along with Surens, and continued its journey. Surens offered to help on the ship and easily gained the crew's trust.
After the DESTROYER's crew had completed a few more missions and had a couple fights with Kalmagoxes, Surens saw his opportunity - but unfortunately for him, the very same captain he had been sent to kill catched him in the act of murdering one of the pilots and had to fight them. But a back-stabbing bounty hunter was no match for the captain and was defeated, barely alive. The Denarboxes decided to just jettison Surens' body to space, thinking he was dead. He probably would have been if he hadn't been found just in time by the same pirates he had worked with earlier. The pirates healed Surens who still desired the bounty KaTERUX had. He then made a new deal with the pirates to go after the DESTROYER, and in return the pirates just wanted Surens' help with raiding a close-by Dormix colony.

The raid failed miserably, and Surens and the few pirates that survived were incarcerated and sent to the Stonewater Penitentiary. After serving his sentence, Surens still sought the prize on Gualdox and the certain captain. Hearing that the certain captain had been making missions for the Surisin captain Sbombz Wells frequently, Surens infiltrated Sbombz' colony on planet Mars and prepared a trap for the captain when they'd show up: by making Sbombz' base's core go critical when they'd come to investigate what was wrong with it. The trap worked, but Surens in his stupidity decided to have a rematch with the captain - which again resulted in him losing. Again, he was left barely alive. But his sabotage to Sbombz' base's core wasn't repairable in time, so the captain ran, leaving Surens inside the base as it exploded.

That's the last time Surens was heard of.

Or was it?.. Probably not.

[PS: I can confidently say that I've used more time on making side-characters for Rafgy's adventure than I've used time on making the actual adventure. And the funny thing is, you don't even do much more than have a quick 'chat' with a few of them - and that's it.]
