Descripción

A razorwhip moth from the Mutevolocene period and a prolific hunter in the Liarusas. It was about the size of a large wasp and preyed on smaller arthropods. The success of the atrocipapillonine body plan produced living fossils similar to this species.

True, though arthropods are so different in biology that such niches would be different, also I think tarantulas are naturally nocturnal so it could definitely be a nocturnal predator

Is there a maximum size range of razorwhip moths? I also took that into account since during the carboniferous, the largest flying arthropod, meganura was substantually smaller then the land arthropods at the time

TBH, while they are very likely powerful predators, I highly doubt they'd become apex predators, I don't think in any of earths history that the apex predator was a flight-capable one except maybe in deserts
