Description
VBS-030 is a plant-based bioweapon created by Veilcorp Corporation for bioattack purpose on forested regions. It has the ability to disperse a highly poisonous mist covering about 150 square miles of area, although it needs to establish itself in the location first before it can start spreading the mist. The establishing process takes 48 hours, a time in which this bioweapon is most vulnerable to attack. During the mid course of the First Blackbell-Veilcorp War, one VBS-030 was used by Veilcorp against the Global Alliance. The bioweapon was released into the Cornelis Mountain Range where several alliance bases and outposts are scattered. After successfully establishing itself, it began to slowly turn the surrounding forests into a hazardous deathtrap. By the time the alliance had killed the bioweapon via napalm bombing, their five bases and outposts have already been fully contaminated with only a handful of survivors.
