ando03 is correct. The newer models will have strong shields. No shields must be why the previous ship never returned!

Oh wow this looks amazing! Would have never thought of using these parts like that. I do hope the spaceship also has strong shields because otherwise the next meteor or ill-meaning alien is going to be a nasty surprise for the fish-people within.
