Description

Glotjas are fiercely empathetic, and deeply intelligent creatures. It is said that a glotja can analyse even an alien creature?s entire character and personality with but a few social interactions. It is no wonder they made great diplomats and even spies during the Second Age.

The development of glotja civilization was rough. Their planet had been subjected to thorough planet sculpting before they had emerged from the primordial slime. When it came time for them to claim their home planet, it had been disfigured and ravaged of most natural resources.

Despite their rough start, glotjas managed to eventually reach space, and when they did, they utilised their skills to form a vast network of alliances. An impressive feat for a small, poor empire. One helped greatly by their expertise in the usage of the ?Static Cling? superweapon.

The glotja government sought to unite the galaxy in a grand, galaxy-wide alliance, and establish a democratic governmental body to oversee peace and justice in the galaxy, somewhat similar to the Galactic Council in Miikka64?s Galaxy. But that dream would only remain a dream. They never had much resources to work with, and by the time they had finally established themselves on the galactic stage, the galaxy was undergoing one crisis after another.

While many empires of the Second Age died out in the Last MATERUX War, the glotjas died out before that. During the religious wars, glotjas attempted to establish a neutral presence to ease the conflict between the warring factions. However, their interference made them a target for a warfleet of fanatics, and they were quickly wiped out in the name of some god or another.
