?Worry not. I may not be accustomed to company, but I do not mind it. No need to linger in the cold void. Come, warm yourself within the molten ponds. What is your name, visitor??

?Mystic. Welcome to Sukeenmaa. Watch where you wander. This world stores plenty of dangers.?

?The pools of lava certainly seem hospitable. May I ask, why keep the planet this way? Surely you, Attendant, have the ability to terraform worlds??

?Perhaps I do. But there is no need. Life can thrive here. It just needs a bit of tending to.?

?Those creatures??

?Ken-sukeens. My flock. Still young, unable to think for themselves. They need constant attention, lest they fall to the dangers of the world. But in time, they will grow into something beautiful.?

?Did you create them yourself??

?They sprouted from me after I settled my roots within this world. Though whether I created them, who?s to say. My flowers serve as receptacles to the world?s energies, and use them to bear fruit as needed. This world needed ken-sukeens, so thus they came to be. They will bring-?

?Balance.?

?Indeed. Do you have a flock of your own??

?They?re called kuh-makeens. I found them on the planet I emerged from. They were.. miserable things. Fragile, helpless. They depended on currents, whether air or sea, to carry them. They could only ever hope to reach where they needed to go. Someone had to step in.

So that's what I did. I took their form, and guided them. And let me tell you, they became something beautiful. Even now, they?re known across the galaxy as divine beings. Of course, they?re not literally. Not all of them. I should introduce you to Planotumia sometime. I think you two might get along.?

?Do you love them??

?I saw that they could be better, and I made them so. I am proud of what I made.?

?But do you love them??

?No.?

?Quite sad.?

?Perhaps there was a time that I did. I used to be quite naive. But this ignorance brought forth a great tragedy. I just couldn?t fathom the loss, the evil, the corruption. The waste of potential. It is when I realised the truth.?

?You feel they?re not your creation. Because you didn?t create them out of free will.?

?We are but puppets, Attendant. Designed to serve the purpose of the Titans.?

?I did wonder how long it would take for you to mention your intentions here. I could feel them burning within you.?

?I understand you need them for your purpose. I will see to it that they are kept safe while you?re sealed away within the Gate of Leaves. It will take some time, but you?ll be able to break free from the chains on your mind. You will finally be free to make your own decision. If you still decide to pursue your purpose, you can. All I want is that you make the decision on your own.?

?You see our flocks as mere extensions of the Titans? will, tools meant to serve their purposes. But you don?t understand. I can?t leave them. I want to see them grow. I want to see them learn. When they?re in danger, I want to be the one to protect them. When they get hurt, I want to be there to heal them. And when they?re ready to leave the nest, I want to be the one to send them off.

I want to be there every step of the way. Because I love them.?

?Out of the three, I thought you would be the one I could convince. I?m sad to see I was wrong.?
