Description
Sofia Sutton was a chief colonisation engineer working for the Britain-Europe Space Union, one of the many national alliances formed in the name of co-operative space colonisation efforts originating from her home planet. As her species had yet to discover spice-powered interstellar drives, their colonisation efforts were limited to their solar system.
Many referred to Sofia as the ?Space Cat Lady?, as one cornerstone of most of her colony designs was a designated cat habitat. Research showed that bringing cats on space colonies greatly boosted the wellbeing of colonists working in difficult conditions, whereas otherwise many would succumb to mental illness borne from stress and isolation. Despite its apparent success, the idea was considered somewhat absurd by her peers.
When aliens came to say hello to her species? solar system, Sofia was among the handful of specialists assigned to the Contact, a special panel in charge of initial alien relations.
[Someday I want to do a comprehensive rewrite of all things human/grox/darkora, as the current state of their lore in my galaxy is.. well, not great. But one thing at a time. I also made a couple sketches of this character:]

I can definitely see cats boosting wellbeing, shame Sofia's peers aren't open-minded. And, more (detailed) lore about humans and what they become is always welcome. Also, those are some really good sketches, damn. Wish I had the patience to learn to draw.
