Description
The Rapida ST is Sabra Raceworks? top-level racecraft for the civilian market. A product of the Epsilon Committee?s homologation rules, the ST is essentially a watered-down and detuned version of the Rapida that competed in the 4023 EGP.
Since the ST shares its DNA with a top-flight, Epsilon-spec racecraft, it is freakishly fast in every respect. In addition, the ST is also freakishly expensive. Customers must part with an eye-watering 3.5 million $ in order to get their hands on a new Rapida - and with only 50 being made, examples on the second-hand market will likely sell for even higher prices.
Homologation racers are lucrative business; they make for good press, and enthusiasts love them more than the average sports ship. The Rapida ST is but one of many homologation craft based off a ship that raced at Epsilon. Specifically, Sabra?s latest machine is touted as a direct competitor to a similar model released by Regali Starworks - the SR-450, a craft based off the 4023 EGP winner, the SR-1000.
