Description
Fungorb thrive in the farthest reaches of the Fummer caverns. Fungorb have strange appendages on their body that mimic the appearance of the caves glowing fungi, the biggest food source in the Fummer caverns. The tubes on the Fungorbs lower body are used to extract the bacteria that cause the fungi to glow. These bacteria are then flushed into the appendages on the Fungorbs head, causing them to glow. This creates an effective mimicry of the fungi. Fungorbs will lie still waiting for a small creature to bite the fungi on its head. When this happens, the Fungorb injects a tube into the prey and drains its bodily fluids for nutrients. The depths of the Fummer caverns contain many large pits, so the Fungorb also has the ability to float over such hazards.
