Description

Meine Ohren schmerzen. Was war das? Ein lauter Schrei hatte die Nacht durchbrochen und ehe ich mich auch nur umsehen kann, schmerzen meine Ohren wieder. Meine Hände fangen an zu zittern und wandern unwillkürlich an meine Ohren um diese zu schützen. Meine Augen bleiben an etwas gelben hängen, welches sich durch einen Busch auf mich zu zubewegen scheint. Als die Blätter zur Seite geschoben werden, weiß ich auf einmal was diesen Schmerz verursacht hatte. Meine Hände gleiten von meinen Ohren und ich lächle in das Gesicht einer Dame der "Arischena", deren Gesangsstimmen für Menschliche Ohren nicht zu erfassen sind und daher nur schrill und grell klingen.

My ears are hurting. What was this? A creepy shout broke through the night and before I even could look around my ears are hurting again. My hands start to shiver and are involuntarily going up to my ears to protect them. I'm taking notice of a yellow thing which seem to move towards me through a bush. When the leaves of the bush are pushed aside at once I know what had caused all this pain. My hands are gliding from my ears and I'm smiling at the face of a lady of the "Arischena". Their song voice is not ascertainable to human ears and sound only shrill, garish and painful.
