Description
The D-188 (if built the XF-109) was a proposed eight-engine Mach 2-capable vertical take-off and landing tiltjet fighter that never proceeded past the mock-up stage. Had it been built it would have been one of the most unorthodox aircraft to fly. N92

hey was it built by germany inWW2? I know some germans built (or going to build) some jets?

I used to fly one of these a lot in FS2000, I think. Great work with all the engines and intakes- I'd imagine the wing pods were a bit of a pain to get right.

The other two engines are located under and behind the cockpit, but since they can open and close, I didn't show them.

That one looks somewhat similar to a German experimental fighter. ;-) Nice design.
