Description
The star system known as Ruuros to the Uru was once used as a waste dump for the industry of the Liarii empire that long dominated this sector of space. Aeons after the Liarii waste-processors fell silent, from the slurry of heavy metals, spent fuel pods and biomechanical detritus in the slag pools of Ruuros-3 arose a new sentience ? the Glormm.
When the Glormm developed shiftspace capability in CY 1587 and encountered the Ka'at, unfortunate diplomatic incidents were at first common, as the Glormm consider comparisons of other creatures and their ancestors to waste products to be the highest compliment. War, however, was narrowly averted.
