Description

Cavalry Officer oufitted for space. Named in tribute to Gen. Philip Sheridan and his horse Rienzi. "Sheridan's Ride" from Winchester to Cedar Creek turned defeat into victory. Rienzi was renamed Winchester in tribute. (Rienzi was actually a black horse.) After the Civil War, he was promoted to Gen. of the U.S. Army during the Indian Wars.
