It's classic "grab you right from the start" King, btw. Reminds me a bit of The Stand, which is my favorite King to date.

I can't believe I forgot about Duma Key - it must be out in paperback now, isn't it? I wouldn't buy a hardcover for myself, but what a treat to get "Dome" as a gift so soon after release!

My son and his gf gave me my Xmas present early - it's King's new novel "Under the Dome!" I've been buried under blankets reading most of the day, it's a great book so far. :)
