Description

This GA is for chess players only: if you don?t play chess, you won?t be able to solve it. You have been warned... [Edit: I made a mistake in my chess notation - where I say c1 in the first two moves, I actually mean g2!] If you get stuck, click on the "hintstone" next to the board (repeatedly if necessary), or if you?re really stuck, play my "Chess Solution" GA to see the moves played automatically. This is the checkmate from Rodriguez vs Olafsson (1978).Thanks for those of you who rated up, commented and subscribed since I published this :)

That's awesome! I won on my 2nd try! I accedentally got a hint, so discounting that I only used 1 hint which was completely useless scince it told me to do a move I was gonna do anyway. That was so fun. GREAT JOB :D

I thought is was very clever. I am teh chess n00b, so I had to use the stone--but only for hints, not direct answers. Well done.

I found the mechanics behind this to be cool. Giving the illusion of control to the player even though they have to make very specific actions. :D

to eforts: no your rook couldn't have been captured by a pawn, that's only in checkers. I thought that too for a sec though

WTF! Now I know what you were talking about in your adventure "GA for dummies" This is unexeptable, I thought adventures with higher points got highly rated. Well I will rate this up, hopefully I can get it to nutreul.
