Description

They are not the Fleshbag Plague. This is a false name associated with what was once assumed to be a mindless ?albeit clever- undead virus of a highly mutagenic nature. The abominations of this ?Fleshbag Plague? are known to be savage, barbaric monstrosities, mutating rapidly and adding corpses made by their own hand to their bodies, rapidly assimilating their prey?s genetic makeup and mutating even further. But the primitive, violent machinations of the Fleshbag Plague are in fact little more than a brilliant ruse designed to fool the lesser beings of the universe into a false sense of security. After all, who would suspect a zombie of being one of the most brilliant and dangerous species in the universe? These perilously underestimated horrors are the Xadari, a race with no homeworld, and no true identity. They evolved on a planet disturbingly similar to Earth, where their primitive, plague-bearing ancestors staggered across the ruined landscape, feeding off of the flesh of the living. But over time, the flesh was gone. And the undead were left to roam, unable to die and unable to live. Somewhere in the centuries that followed, evolution began to take place. The dead were the only inhabitants left on that ruined world, and there were many a niche to fill. The Xadari emerged from the abyssal ooze not a decade later, the first and only known breed of undead to evolve true intelligence. The bodies of the dead-yet-inedible, long preserved by the toxicity of that world and unavailable to the walking dead, were suddenly free to the Xadari. But the Xadari had no appetite for the flesh of the living, the hunger had long died with time. But evolution had given them a gift, and with this gift the Xadari assimilated the dead into their bodies, growing ever stronger and ever smarter. But like the flesh of the living so many centuries ago, the last preserved corpse was eventually assimilated, and the Xadari were left without their beloved catalyst. It was then that the brightest of them looked to the stars, and an idea was born? The Xadari will wait. The Xadari will hunger. And one day soon, the Xadari will reign.---------------- The Xadari are the best stealth combatants in the galaxy, capable of tearing through and assimilating an entire planetary population before backup can be called upon, the "Fleshbag Plague" drones of the Horde bearing the brunt of enemy resistance while the true terror sweeps the planet. Beserkers are the true tanks of the Xadari Horde, armed with brute force and sheer power. This individual, who has determined its appearance based on the amount of Dzehmuuln and Eresleite DNA it has assimilated, is armored with the Xadari's most advanced Power Armor technologies. Stealth fields, a Pile Bunker capable of impaling enemy mechs, a tail-mounted energy scythe, a recoiless lightweight Vulcan and the Xadari's horrible powers of assimilation and necromancy are just a handful of this Beserker's tools of war and genocide.
