Description

*The description disappeared and I don't know why. Anyways, it looks better in the editor, the png is too blurry. And I will get to commenting eventually; college has me crazy* The sunset grouse is a hen sized bird that normally appear during sun set. They are intelligent birds that gather in groups and sing songs so beautiful it is said to be the sun's lullaby. They are very friendly often following tourist and returning items they might have dropped. They are surprisingly well mannered and love to hop on tourist laps and tweet sweet melodies. They were once considered game fowl and were hunted for their feathers and head crest. Greedy businesses used the feathered as souvenirs and the crest for jewelry. They were also captured to become pets for the wealthy but the harsh environment caused many to suffer and die. The constant hunting caused the grouse to become skittish and hide during the sunset. This upset many tourist who loved watching these marvelous birds so with much help the birds finally got the protection they needed. Now the grouse are back to their normal selves and often give tourist a fallen feather as a symbol of gratitude for their saving them.
