Tupolev Tu-114 - Sowjetisches Langstreckenverkehrsflugzeug aus den 1950ern. Die Flächen und Triebwerke stammen direkt vom Tu-95-Bomber; es wurde lediglich ein neuer, extrem vergrößerter Rumpf für 220 Passagiere entworfen. Die Maschine wurde nur bei der Aeroflot eingesetzt und flog bis weit in die 1970er auf sämtlichen Langstrecken. / Soviet 1950s long range airliner. The engineers took the wings of the Tu-95 bomber and designed a matching, greatly enlarged fuselage seating up to 220 passengers. The type was operated exclusively by Aeroflot and provided valuable service on their long range network well into the 1970s.
