{Please comment and rate up on spore.com. Made for Wolfwhisperer's contest with their template. =3 } Description: The Light Runner is a very rare species of runner, and only two have been seen. Legend tells of one of these sightings, the light runner Neir'Kin. Neir'Kin had hated humans for their greed and selfishness. However, this changed when he fell sick and was nursed back to health by a young girl who had found him lying in the forest. At first, he was stubborn and annoyed by the face he had to rely on someone else to take care of him, but gradually came to terms with it. One day he noticed that the girl had a scent of sickness herself. He asked her why she could help him, but not herself. She told him that her illness was incurable. Amazed at the fact the girl had no sense of jealousy or hate that he could get better and she couldn't, Neir'Kin came to see humans in a different light. He stayed with the girl until the day she died, never once leaving her side. He was never seen again after the girls death, but every month, a new flower lies on the girl's grave.
