I don't think I could give up eating chickens, but I agree they need to be treated with much more respect and care. I've seen some pretty awful photos of mistreatment even before they are shipped off for slaughter.

Free range...happy animals taste better and they get to keep all their parts...also you don't get the extra dose of antibiotics they use to keep sick animals alive.

@jaeOnasi- yes it is abuse, they are tortured to death, it wouldn't be abuse if they were killed quickly/painlessly. so it wouldn't be abuse if you beat a child to death and then fed it to a lion? just because you're gonna eat it you don't have to torture

yeah, i saw the cuting off the beaks thing too...it disgusts me that people can live with themselves when they torture innocent animals every day
