I'm not gonna lie. I have little to no idea what half of these utility gizmos even do. I know what this one does, though. It monitors electricity. That IS what it does, right?

Iv'e got one of these outside my house. They are used for billing purposes, a guy comes around and checks it to see how much energy you used so you are charged based on how much energy you consumed
