Heheheh... I just got a very silly idea... build a driveable Dalek, put a skimmer hat on it and hang a cane over the suction cup thingamajig.

I have a similar case with my other telescope. It's very portable and a little more powerful, but the Orion Nebula is pretty close to its limit for power.
