The ending was also going to be a lot more tragic. I don't remember exactly how I wanted it to go, but it involved one of the ferals killing Clark, and Stanley doing himself in out of heartbreak.

I was originally going to have this big, Jurassic Park-y scene near the end where the captain and Stanley are cornered by the two feral Stompwolves, when the 'dumb' one comes in to save the day.
