What in the hell is it doing?Why is it going backwards?Let me tell ya,this Artillery is going backwards because it has weapons for a very far range and it shouldnt get too close to enemys.This Artillery has a CRAZY homing missile weapon with long range

That is true, but usually the artillery also are like stationed miles out of range of most vehicles. for example, the American M270's missiles can reach 32-70 km targets. That's REALLY long range.

They are rarely ever used in direct confrontation (I say rarely because it would take some really bizarre scenarios to warrant such a tactic)

Traditionally, rocket artillery vheicles would station themselves far away from enemies, fire a barrage, then move to a different location.
