Description
The Lancer is fully autonomous combat walker, based on the Sentinel frame and piloted by tactical AI that comes up with battle plans on the fly based on data feeds of enemy behavior. At 2.5 meters tall, it is smaller and MUCH more agile than the Sentinel, with upgraded biomesh that allows for more organic movement. It can run and jump around like a giant bug while retaining pinpoint accuracy up to 300 meters. The most popular Lancer configuration is the dual railgun pictured. Additional hardpoints exist all over the Lancer's body, but they are rarely used in order to conserve weight. The Lancer is not as heavily armored as the Sentinel, and its mobility is its greatest asset. To make it harder to kill, it features the Sentinel's active camouflage coating.
