?Upon atmospheric entry, the ceramic skin of my drop pod malfunctioned?cracked by some shrapnel probably. Flames engulfed the pod as I streaked towards the battlefield. As soon as I was planetside I was bashing the release hatch but it had jammed up, leaving me stranded in a pressure cooker. I remember banging uselessly on the glass and screaming until my throat was raw. I was nearly passed out when the door was just torn from its hinges and tossed into the Grox lines. A group of colonists and a construction rig of all things pulled me out of the wreckage. The civilians had recovered from the crash quickly and were fighting with everything they could turn into a weapon, even construction equipment until we could evac them. The rigs were using their mag-claws, torches, and boltguns to stem the tide of Grox. Some guys even managed to snag some Grox weapons. Those who made it back were celebrated and those that did not were honored. They died a warrior?s death and were given proper funerals by the Anglersis. Landfall taught us some very valuable lessons that day.?
