Description

Just some organism that popped into my head as I was imagining how alien life could have evolved on a distant planet. These things evolved from colonies of moss/slime mold like organisms. They eventually sprouted out more. Additional details in comments.

"Just a few questions, what's the function of those two tail-looking things behind the hind legs? Or that tube behind the eyes?" The tube is were it breaths, as in for the two thingies, IDK, pretty much only there to make them weirder lol.

Of course, my imagination cannot be directly translated into spore creatures. This is not exactly what I imagined. For one thing, I tend to imagine things colourlessly. Not even in black or white. Colour just isn't a concern when I imagine these things.

Pretty unique idea if I say so myself.

Then the bury their spindly legs completely underground so that only the mushroom top sticks out. Then over the course of weeks, their mushroom top begins to flips upward and grow taller and thinner, until they grow back into these things.

So the idea behind these organisms is that out of those little holes pop out small mushroom-looking things with legs. They wander around on their spindly legs gathering nutrients.
