Description
These behemoths are employed by the Galactic Council only for the biggest threats, only responding to Omega level emergencies. There are only a handful of these in existence, but their weaponry is bleeding edge. Armed with two big EMP continuous laserbeam cannons, an anti-spacecraft turret and two smart-tracking payload equipped cannons, this thing will probably obliterate anything you throw at it. Originally thought to be just for show, the LRAC (Last Resort Assault Craft) first sprung into action when a previously thought to be primitive civilization was actually building a huge army under the protection of high-tech cloaking technology. After already taking over numerous systems with their huge fleet of self-made and stolen craft, the situation got upgraded to Omega level and the only LRAC in existence at that point responded. This ship, only escorted by a half dozen DAADs, was able to neutralize the entire Xyrac fleet, after which more conventional GC craft were able to clear out the systems one by one.
