Description
Taste tests are one-time-use appliances built in the flesh labs used to detect harmful bacteria, viral infections, or other unwanted substances within a sample of flesh. This process is reserved only for premium construction and paid for by those who want to create something pristine and unique. During testing, the flesh is placed on the tip of the tongue, where a variety of chemical and biological receptors thoroughly examine it. After examination, the results are displayed on the attached monitor, and the flesh is either cleared for high quality use or scrapped for general use. Since much of what is created in the flesh labs does not qualify for such treatment, taste tests are dismantled after use in order to return the highly sensitive and valuable tongue to the safety of stasis. The body is recycled for scrap flesh, and the monitor is kept to be used elsewhere.
