Description
The Terrans, hailing from planet Terra in the Sol system, have been slower to develop their spacefaring technology than most. However, slowly but surely, they started exploring their galactic neighbourhood and inevitably stumbled upon other empires. Initial contact was friendly and trade started blooming. However, a growing fraction of the Terrans were repulsed by all these aliens. This discontent blew up when one of the Terran allies, the Xygons, were annihilated by another empire. The xenophobic faction, the Neo-Terrans, took this opportunity to highlight the danger of alien empires and seceded from the Terrans. A long and bloody civil war followed, eventually ending in a truce. To this day, the Terran and Neo-Terran empires still live in relative peace with the Terran empire focussing on alliances and trade and the Neo-Terrans gearing up their warmachine to cleanse the galaxy of the 'dangerous aliens' and the 'treator Terrans'.
