Continuing this line of research has proven difficult, however, due to the rare nature of the material. While a similar material, gepardium, can be acquired from kuh-makeens, there is a vast world of difference between the ultraenergetic resonance factors of the two materials. While both elements can change structural form between crystal, metal or fibre through unknown processes, zepardium is thousands of times more sensitive to ultraenergy, and can be inscribed with spells to create extremely potent magical artefacts via the Artclesian Principle. Even in non-magical circles, the material proves extremely valuable as a nearly all-withstanding alloy. It has been regarded as the closest thing to a fully indestructible material if processed correctly.
The reason for its rarity is that nobody really appears to know where it comes from. Unlike gepardium, for which kuh-makeens appear to have a method for producing, zepardium has no known natural source, and any attempts at manufacturing it synthetically have failed. It is estimated that less than 160 kg of it exists in the entire galaxy, with each gram of it having such a long history that tracking down its origin becomes impossible.
This has led to many associate the material with gods, which again connects it to the World Stones, albeit without any actual solid evidence. Needless to say, at this point the scholars of Info-Hold grew rather desperate. However, in their desperate search for anything that might be even a slightest bit relevant to the matter, they came upon a document that described a species capable of manipulating a strange material that was described to once have channelled the very power of stars to defeat a loathsome foe. While not a strong lead, it was a lead nonetheless, and the scholars focused their efforts on uncovering the details of this species.
Their research bore them good and bad news. The good news was that the species did indeed exist. Even better, there were records that indicated that despite being recorded in documents older than most known species, this species in question was still kicking. They were known as the Liguni, an isolationist empire that rarely interacted with the galaxy. With this knowledge, the scholars set course to the planet recorded as the Liguni homeworld.
This is where the bad news set in. The world, surrounded by massive superstructures that must have taken thousands of years to build, had been reduced to ruins. Analysing the remains of the star system revealed the culprit to have been the feared MATERUX horde of machines, known to have obliterated countless civilizations.
While no liguni survivors could be found, the destroyed superstructures revealed interesting knowledge. Their immense sizes and shapes indicated the need for an extremely durable material to hold the constructs together, a task that all known metal would be unsuited for. All but one.
Indeed, the planet was found to have been an absurdly plentiful source of zepardium. Although the vast majority of it had been harvested, likely by the MATERUX who wrecked the place, a dozen kilograms were able to be secured and transported back to the Info-Hold facility for further study. An amount that was worth more than some entire empires, held by a small institution of scholars.
Before the scholars could get far in their research of the material, all of Info-Hold was wiped out. Most assume it was the MATERUX who came to take what they deemed belonged to them. However, a short transmission sent out before the planet was brought to ruin included a description of a dark, powerful creature with fiery eyes full of wrath.
So the initiative to research the World Stones came to an end, only managing to bring about more questions than answers.

Lots of interesting lore here, some we already knew, some which we didn't. God of Pain and Destruction, the Singed Singer, zepardium/Titanblood... And I think I have a pretty good idea who it was that wiped out the Info-Hold.

A really simple set of shapes and yet very aesthetically pleasing.

Nice job making the central two pieces look connected.
